Venice is a second home to me and I can't stop exploring it's less known corners.
I purposely get lost in order to force myself to discover new places and hidden gems. This doorway on a canal summarize all the elements and flavors of the city: it's light is so palpable that you can almost feel being there. The texture of stone the earthy color of the facade give a strong composition to the piece that partially reflects in the green water during a hot late spring day.
I must confess that I was dying for a spritz aperitivo with green olives...
